Cross-Stitch Birds + Flowers Motif Chiapas Shoulder Bag

A great accent piece for holiday dressing, this completely hand-made shoulder bag is lined with blue checked gingham and has a zippered closure. Makes a lovely holiday gift for a young woman or girl, too. The motif is a whimsical bird design nested in a bouquet of red flowers made with cross-stitch needlework. Both sides of the bag are embroidered! Double view! The strap is handwoven. Made in Tenejapa, Chiapas, about an hour outside of San Cristobal de las Casas. Come with us on our Chiapas Textile Study Tour in late February 2024. We have several spaces open!

Bag body is 9″ wide x 8-1/2″ high, strap measures 42″ from end-to-end.
